Job Context:
∎ Mir Telecom Limited (MTL) is first International Gateway Operator of Bangladesh. The company offers 100% CLI termination and origination of Bangladesh traffic and also for other destinations around the world.
∎ We are looking for a full-time Senior Manager/AGM-Accounts & Finance who will oversee the A&F team and the overall financial strategy of the Company and its sister concern. As the finance leader of MTL, you will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of the company. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting and analysis. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of financial leadership, excellent analytical skills and a strong business acumen.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives.
∎ Lead the budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to establish realistic budgets and financial goals.
∎ Monitor budget implementation, identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective cost control measures.
∎ Conduct financial & budget variance analysis, assess business risk to support strategic decision-making.
∎ Accounting and Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
∎ Supervise day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, treasury management, fixed asset and payroll.
∎ Manage cash flow, working capital and investments to optimize liquidity.
∎ Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors, providing insights and recommendations.
∎ Compliance and Stakeholder Collaboration: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and legislation.
∎ Manage internal and external audits, providing necessary information and resolving audit findings promptly.
∎ Ensure accurate and timely tax file and tax related returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes.
∎ Maintain liaison with regulatory authority, NBR, RJSC, BIDA, BTRC, bank & other stakeholder of the company.
∎ Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance and accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
∎ Set area of key responsibilities of team member and conduct periodic performance evaluations, provide on the job training.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Relevant industry or multinational experienced will get preference.
∎ Experience in a similar role for at least 3-4 years is required.
∎ Strong computer skills, experience with MS office is required; expertise in Tally ERP is preferred.
