Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
∎ Must have completed BBA or Equivalent Degree from any reputed public or private University.
∎ Candidates with O' level and A' level background will be given priority.
∎ At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience at any reputed Travel Agency
∎ Skills Required: Amadeus, Galileo, IATA, OTA, Sabre

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Tour and Travel Agency, Airline Ticket Reservation, GSA, Travel Agent
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Travel Agent

Job Context:
∎ Reservation Agent Requirements:
∎ Certified travel associate (CTA) or certified travel counselor (CTC), preferred.
∎ Experience working in sales or public relations, preferably in the hospitality or travel industries.
∎ Customer-service experience.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
∎ Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
∎ Data entry experience.
∎ Flexible working hours.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have experience in making air ticket reservations using GDS.
∎ Must be an expert in using Galileo or Amadeus
∎ Must have expert knowledge of domestic/ international, online, group booking.
∎ Strong commitment to customer service.
∎ Must have fast and efficient communication skills with Clients and about their queries.
∎ Must be able to professionally and courteously communicate with clients through all interactions, including telephone conversations, emails and Whatsapp.
∎ Must be highly skilled in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel), Internet browsing, and fast typing (Both English & Bengali).
∎ Must deal with customer complaints and requests in a kind, effective and courteous manner, and must aim to provide effective solutions within the shortest possible time.
∎ Must assist and advise customers who may be choosing from a variety of travel options.
∎ Must be able to make reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
∎ Processing payments and sending confirmation details to customers.
∎ Maintaining proper official records.
∎ Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
∎ Selling and promoting reservation services.
∎ Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process.
∎ Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or special packages, such as tour tickets, travel insurance, or upgraded seats/accommodations.
∎ Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.
∎ Respond to customer queries quickly for Fare search, Fare quote, Booking, Issuing, Re-issue, Cancellation, Void, Refunds, EMD.
∎ Must remain updated on Airline/ Travel notices and circulars and update the reservation team, sales team, accounts and others accordingly.
∎ Must follow the Airlines terms and conditions and ADM policies.
∎ Must be proficient in reservation of group tickets.
