Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in sports commentary, journalism, or broadcasting is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of soccer (football) and familiarity with the rules, strategies, and players.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a clear, expressive, and confident speaking style.
- Ability to think on your feet and provide real-time analysis in a live setting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends based on match schedules.
- Familiarity with YouTube or other digital content platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities & Context:
Position Overview: We are looking for a talented and passionate Commentator to join our Media & Broadcasting team. This role is essential in delivering live sports coverage that is engaging, informative, and entertaining across TV, radio, and digital platforms — including our growing YouTube channel
As a key voice of our broadcasts, you will play a vital role in enhancing the viewer experience, strengthening brand presence, and fostering audience engagement.
Location: 78 Moghbazar (5th Floor), Dhaka
Responsibilities
- Provide live commentary during matches and events in a clear, professional, and engaging manner.
- Explain game rules, player profiles, and technical elements to help viewers better understand and enjoy the event.
- Work collaboratively with co-commentators, producers, and the technical team to ensure smooth, high-quality broadcasts.
- Deliver pre-match insights and post-match analysis that are accurate, insightful, and creatively presented.
- Conduct thorough research on teams, players, match history, and relevant statistics in preparation for each event.
- Maintain a professional tone, using respectful and inclusive language at all times.
- Adapt commentary style to suit various platforms, including YouTube, TV, radio, and online streaming.
