Role Overview:
The Specialist - Product Management plays a critical role in driving the success of the company’s product portfolio within the assigned category. This position involves end-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle, from strategy development and market analysis to production coordination and retail activation. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in product management to ensure the assigned product portfolio meets market demands, delivers superior customer value, and achieves profitability goals.
Job Description:
Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the assigned category, aligning with overall business objectives.
Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
Manage the entire product portfolio within the assigned category, ensuring a balanced and competitive product offering.
Conduct regular portfolio reviews and make data-driven recommendations for product additions, modifications, or discontinuation.
Collaborate with Sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
Work closely with the Regional Product/Category Team, R&D, Production, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of product initiatives.
Lead the successful launch of new products within the assigned category, including coordinating marketing, sales, and training efforts.
Implement effective lifecycle management strategies, including product updates, refreshes, and end-of-life planning.
Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely product availability.
Monitor and manage inventory turns and obsolescence within the assigned category.
Develop and manage the budget for the assigned category, ensuring financial targets are met.
