Responsibilities & Context:
JOB SUMMARY:
The incumbent will be responsible to the Manager Laboratory & Blood Bank Services for ensuring daily smooth running of the Laboratory & Blood Bank. She/he will supervise clinical laboratory procedures, instrument maintenance and ensure implementation of quality control programs & will also supervise blood donation procedure and review all tests performed in biochemistry, blood bank and pathology. As Specialist (Diagnostic Laboratory) he/she should be able to work independently, may evaluate test results and exercise some initiatives in determining additional or follow up tests. Duties will involve working on shifting basis or as per roster approved by the Laboratory Manager. Carry out other tasks assigned by any other competent authority.
