ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 283 Upazilas under 49 districts of Bangladesh, covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.
∎ We are looking to hire Social Media Manager for branding and promoting organizational initiatives to manage our digital platform. The candidate will be involved in social media developing social media strategies, implementing digital platform & Creative planning and execution of all the digital campaigns. An effective communicator who can listen and convey information into written outputs is our ideal applicant. We invite you to apply if you have expertise in developing captivating narratives, key messages, and content (such as articles, blog posts, talking points, and presentations) that promote knowledge sharing and motivate action.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Proficiency in researching and crafting thoughtful and engaging blog content, articles, landing page content, email copy, and social media content to targeted audiences to help increase conversions
∎ Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
∎ Prepare content for print media (e.g., press releases, news articles)
∎ Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
∎ Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles, social media posts
∎ Documentation for digital products
∎ Promote content on social media
∎ Identify users' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
∎ Plan and execute all web, email, social media, and display organizational campaigns.
∎ Implementing and managing ESDO's social media accounts. Expertise on social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, web site, etc. to manage digital campaigns.
∎ Webpage admin panel management and control uploading capacities with basic web site development.
∎ Develop promotional materials (static photos & motion videos etc.)
∎ Update organization website regularly.
∎ Analyze brands social media pages, digital campaigns, content, captions and copies to suggest the best possible way to generate leads for the page.
∎ Establish best practices in social media& stay up to date with digital technologies developments.
∎ Any other task as required by the authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Must be familiar with creating content that is optimized for SEO as well as conversions
∎ Must be reliable and able to meet all deliverable deadlines
∎ Excellent proficiency both in English and Bengali writing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following working area(s):
∎ Creative content writing
∎ Blog articles and landing page content
∎ Story or script writing
∎ News article/ press release writing
∎ Experience must include producing photography, short videos, document-drama, animations etc.
