∎ As partnership with DRC, ESDO will implement the Increase the capacity and awareness of the community on waste management and establish two villages as zero waste model, Coxsbazar. .This position posting place will be at Ukhia, Coxsbazar. ESDO is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Job Summary
∎ A shredding machine operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing shredding machines used in recycling, manufacturing, and other industries.
∎ The operator ensures that the shredding machine runs smoothly, efficiently and safely, to meet production requirements and deadlines. They must also perform routine inspections of the machine to ensure that it is in good working condition.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Operate the shredding machine in a safe, efficient and effective manner
∎ Feed materials into the shredder for processing, monitor the shredder's performance, and adjust the machine settings as necessary to ensure maximum throughput and minimize downtime
∎ Inspect and maintain shredding machines, including regular cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of parts
∎ Perform basic repairs and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process
∎ Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure that the shredding machine is properly locked out and tagged out when not in use
∎ Maintain accurate records of production runs and machine maintenance
∎ Assist in the setup and cleanup of the production area as needed
∎ Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that production goals are met and quality standards are maintained
∎ Working Conditions:
∎ The work environment for a shredding machine operator can be noisy, dusty, and dirty. They are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including earplugs, safety glasses, and a hard hat to minimize exposure to hazards. They may also be required to work in extreme temperatures and lift heavy materials.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ In case of highly experience staff age limit is flexible.
∎ At least 03 years’ working experience in the similar position.
∎ Prior experience operating and maintaining shredding machines or other heavy equipment preferred
∎ Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic repairs
∎ Good communication and teamwork skills
∎ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
∎ Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary
∎ Computer skill on MS package get advantage.
Salary: Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
