The Senior Student Consultant plays a key role in guiding students through the complete study-abroad journey—from initial counselling to successful admission and visa submission. This role requires strong country knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage students independently while supporting junior consultants and contributing to branch performance.
Provide one-to-one academic counselling to students for study abroad options (Italy, Cyprus, Hungary, Malta, UK, and other destinations offered by UniEducare).
Assess student profiles based on academic background, IELTS/MOI, financial capability, and career goals.
Recommend suitable universities, programs, and intake options aligned with student eligibility.
Explain admission requirements, scholarships, tuition fees, living costs, and post-study opportunities clearly and ethically.
Handle complete admission applications, including university portals, document preparation, and follow-ups.
Review and guide students on SOPs, motivation letters, CVs, and supporting documents.
Ensure accuracy and compliance in academic documents, translations, and notarisation.
Coordinate with universities and partners regarding offers, corrections, and deadlines.
Guide students through visa requirements, timelines, and embassy expectations.
Assist in preparing strong visa files (financials, GTE/GS, study plans, sponsor documents).
Conduct mock visa interviews where required.
Ensure files are submitted error-free and on time, maintaining UniEducare quality standards.
Maintain regular follow-up with prospective and enrolled students to ensure high conversion.
Build trust-based relationships with students and guardians through transparent counselling.
Handle objections, concerns, and last-minute changes professionally.
Maintain proper student records in CRM or internal tracking systems.
Support and guide junior student consultants when needed.
Share updated information on universities, intakes, policy changes, and embassy trends.
Help maintain counselling standards and ethical practices across the branch.
Assist the Branch Manager in meeting monthly admission and conversion targets.
Participate in education fairs, seminars, and branch promotional events.
Support marketing teams with academic content, FAQs, and student success stories.
Contribute ideas to improve counselling processes and student experience.
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 2–4 years experience in study abroad consultancy.
Strong knowledge of European education systems (Italy/Cyprus/Hungary preferred).
Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla.
Ability to manage multiple student files independently.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
