• Proven hands-on experience in Retail Deposit product development, pricing, profitability analysis, market benchmarking and lifecycle management.

• Experience in developing and reviewing PPGs, policies and process guidelines.

• Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and present recommendations to Senior Management; experience in managing or mentoring a product, policy or performance team preferred.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation and negotiation skills with strong stakeholder management and influencing capability.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of BI/analytics tools is an advantage.

• Strong ownership and execution discipline, with the ability to manage multiple strategic priorities.

Job Context

ONE Bank PLC is seeking a commercially driven banking professional to lead the growth, profitability, competitiveness and lifecycle management of its Retail Deposit and Asset products. The incumbent will shape product strategy, pricing, customer acquisition and retention and cost of funds, deliver customer-centric and compliant solutions in partnership with business and support functions and serve as a key advisor to Senior Management on Retail Liability strategy, deposit mobilization and sustainable business growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Deposit products (CASA, Term Deposits, DPS/Savings) and Asset products (Personal, Home and Car Loans); strengthen CASA penetration and low-cost deposit mobilization.

• Monitor product-level growth, customer acquisition and retention, maturity profile, cost of funds, portfolio quality and profitability.

• Establish a product performance management framework; review pricing and competitiveness against market practices and recommend corrective actions.

• Prepare product MIS and dashboards and provide Senior Management with clear, actionable recommendations.

• Lead the Retail Policy function: develop, review and maintain policies, Product Program Guidelines (PPGs) and process guidelines in line with regulatory, risk and internal governance requirements.

• Conduct market and competitor analysis; lead new product development, approval and implementation.

• Drive customer-centric design and process simplification to improve turnaround time and service delivery.

• Act as strategic partner to the Head of Retail Business and Senior Management on Retail product growth, customer acquisition, wealth management and segment propositions.

• Collaborate with Business, Distribution, Credit, Risk, Compliance, Operations, IT, Marketing and Finance on product initiatives.

• Own the Retail Deposit and Asset product portfolio and maintain a product roadmap aligned with the Bank’s business strategy, customer needs and market opportunities.
