We are looking for a high-energy, experienced, and target-oriented travel professional to join our team as a Reservation & Package Officer.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise in global flight distribution systems (GDS), tour package operations, and direct client counseling to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to handle pressure, meet sales targets, and maintain a high level of accuracy in reservations.

Job Responsibilities

• Ticketing Operations: Process flight bookings, issue tickets, manage reissues, cancellations, and refunds using GDS. Handle PNR creation, pricing, and ticketing deadlines accurately.

• Package Creation & Operation: Design and develop comprehensive domestic and international tour packages, including itinerary planning, costing, and service inclusions.

• Reservation Management: Manage all aspects of reservations, including hotel bookings, transport, and sightseeing arrangements, ensuring availability and competitive pricing.

• Client Counseling: Provide expert travel advice to clients, understanding their needs, recommending suitable destinations/flights/hotels, and building a consultative relationship.

• Deal Closing: Actively engage with potential clients, negotiate package terms, overcome objections, and successfully convert inquiries into confirmed bookings/sales.

• Vendor & Supplier Liaison: Coordinate with airlines, hotels, DMCs, and ground transport providers to secure bookings and confirm services.

• Documentation: Prepare and issue travel documents (vouchers, tickets, itineraries) and ensure all booking details are accurate before client travel.

• After-Sales Support: Provide support to clients during their travel period to address any service-related issues.
  

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Candidates MUST possess the following to be considered:

1. Air Ticketing: Proven expertise in issuing, reissuing, and managing flight tickets.

2. GDS Proficiency: Hands-on, professional working knowledge of at least THREE (3) Global Distribution Systems (GDS). [Examples: Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, Worldspan]

3. Package Operation: Experience in designing, costing, and managing end-to-end tour packages (inbound/outbound).

4. Reservation Professional: Deep understanding of the reservation workflow (PNR to e-ticket to voucher).

5. Client Counseling & Deal Close: Strong ability to consult with travelers, understand their needs, present options, and skillfully close the sale.
   

General Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in a Travel Agency or Tour Operator firm, specifically handling both ticketing and holiday packages.
  

• Behavioral Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Bengali.

  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict sales targets.

  • Close attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, email, and online booking tools.
