Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Cost & Management Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
∎ CA (CC) or CMA (inter / Level 3 completed) are preferable
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: CA (CC) or CMA (inter Level 3 completed) are preferable
∎ Training/Trade Course: CA (CC) or CMA (inter Level 3 completed) are preferable
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 7 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Senior Executive Officer (Finance & Accounts) will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the Finance and Accounts department. He needs to implement and oversee all activities relating to the financial aspect in compliance with accounting frameworks as well as statutory obligations, local tax law, and organizational existing SOPs.
∎
∎ In addition, he will be responsible for the financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, auditing and controlling, assets and liabilities reconciliation, working capital and cash control with safekeeping and updating of all financial documentation
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitoring the day-to-day activities among the team members.
∎ To design policies and procedures according to the accounting framework.
∎ Overall in charge of updating accounts, budget preparation, forecasting, and financial & management reporting.
∎ To ensure optimum utilization of funds and cash management through proper cash flow analysis.
∎ Leading and upgrading team members by ensuring proper training and counseling.
∎ To adopt planning and budgeting for agencies and principals.
∎ Handling all legal issues relevant to the vessel and agency-related matters.
∎ Handling the "Central Bank Issues" in respect of remittance and necessary permission requirements.
∎ To adopt and maintain the company ERP system as per company policy.
∎ Ensure monthly financial accounting reports (Trial Balance, Income statement, Balance sheet, and statement of cash flows)
∎ To supervise and monitor credit realization (Accounts Receivables) within the agreed payment deadlines.
∎ Comply with the rules of BIDA and RJSC respectively.
∎ Deal with the matters related to the customs, port, and tax authorities' implications in the case of local and foreign companies in BD.
∎ To ensure reporting on monthly accounts including Trial Balance, P&L, and Balance sheet by the 5th of the following month.
∎ To adopt monthly auditing of total accounts and reporting to the management.
∎ All other accounting & finance Works as and when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply

∎ Experience working in any reputed organization/group of companies in which at least 2 years in a senior position i.e. leading the department.
∎ Willingness to work in a team proactively and individually.
∎ Leadership ability to manage challenges.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
∎ Excellent communication skills both in English and Bengali.
∎ Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Expertise in Excel, and PPT.
∎ Experience in using Accounting Software (SAP/ Tally/QB/Prism).
∎ Require working additional hours as and when needed.
∎ Using computers and digital devices for long hours is required.
∎ Have to visit field/project offices as and when needed.
∎ Dedicated, Hard worker, Self-motivated, Creative, Trustworthy, Critical Thinker, Problem-solver and decision-maker.
