  • The incumbent is responsible for leading the entire maintenance department of the factory.
  • A thorough understanding of the working principles of the following machineries is expected – Tajima Embroidery Machine, Hydraulic Cutting Machine, Generator, Ganey Air Compressor, Tape Cutting Machine, YAESU Z-Cut Automatic Tape Dispenser, JAM Crimping Machine, Hopetech and Tsuruga Resistance Meter, NAC Circuit Check Machine. Should be prepared to live near Mongla EPZ area.


Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead and supervise all maintenance team members.

  • Check all Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems of machine to ensure proper functionality.

  • Ensure uninterrupted factory operations by minimizing equipment downtime, enhancing reliability, and managing cost-effective solutions.

  • Allocate daily tasks and responsibilities across shifts.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching or corrective feedback.

  • Organize skill enhancement programs (machinery repair, safety training, SOP familiarization).

  • Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance across Electrical systems, Mechanical systems, hydraulic systems and utilities.

  • Ensure quick resolution of maintenance issues Overseeing the procurement and management of machinery, spare parts and consumables.

  • Raise purchase requisition based on need and actual consumption.

  • Manage machinery and spare parts inventory.

  • Track material consumption trends and reduce wastage and excess procurement.

  • Lead emergency repair actions.

  • Liaise with third-party service providers for specialized maintenance issues.

  • Ensure compliance with all occupational safety standards and environmental regulations.

  • Conduct routine inspections and risk assessments for plant safety.

  • Approve and verify daily maintenance reports, work schedules, and job sheets.

  • Compile weekly, monthly and annual reports covering maintenance cost, downtime, and performance KPIs.

  • Maintain and update maintenance logbook, technical documents, SOPs, and work procedures.

  • Develop department budgets, track cost trends, and implement cost-saving initiatives.

  • Propose long-term machinery upgrade plans and layout improvement strategies.
