Additional Requirements:

·         Strong practical knowledge of LC & Import Documentation.

·     Good understanding of Bangladeshi Banking and import procedure.

·         Knowledge of Customs, HS Code, duty/tax and clearance procedures.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Email correspondence and commercial documents.

·         Tally ERP Software knowledge must require.

·         Excellent communication skill in English.

·         Any other Job assigned by the Management.

Responsibilities & Context:

Oasis Minerals and Metals Limited is looking for an experienced, dynamic and result-oriented professional for the position of Senior Executive (Commercial) to manage and coordinate import and commercial activities related to Stone, Coal, Food Grains. Practical experience in import operations, shipping, customs clearance, port operations, import costing, LC & Banking.

1. Supplier Communication: Maintain regular communication with international suppliers regarding pricing, product specifications, order confirmations, production schedules, and shipment updates.

2. Import Management: Handle the complete import process from Proforma Invoice (PI) verification and order placement through customs clearance and final delivery.

3. LC & Banking: Manage LC opening, amendments, payments, and other import-related banking formalities.

4. Shipping & Logistics: Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and C&F agents to ensure timely shipments and clearance.

5. Documentation: Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and other shipping documents.

6. Customs & Compliance: Handle HS code classification, customs duties, VAT, and applicable import regulations in Bangladesh.

7. Cost Management: Prepare landed-cost calculations, monitor import expenses, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

8. Order Tracking: Follow up with suppliers on production progress, shipping schedules, pending documentation, and delivery commitments.

9. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, LC status, supplier correspondence, shipments, and import expenses.
