∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fashion Designing, Master of Science (MSc) in Fashion Designing

∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Good fashion sense and understanding of market.
∎ Working experience across women/men/kids knit products. (Tommy, M&S etc.)
∎ Previous working experience with UK and Europe market requirements.
∎ Used to work in a fast paced design environment.
∎ Commercially focused with good feasible sampling.
∎ Strong sense of fashion and curiosity and current market knowledge.
∎ Knowledge of printing/embroidery/washing techniques would be a distinct advantage.
∎ Good fashion sense and understanding of market.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Creating an idea and producing a design by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD) Proficient in Adobe illustrator/ Illustrator.
∎ Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes.
∎ Identifying seasonal colors, fabrics and select prints etc and able to translate into commercial designs.
∎ Planning and developing Ranges.
∎ Has to create Moodboards before starting a new season.
∎ Maintaining proper communication for design & style development purposes with Marketing & Merchandising team.
∎ Own design based Sampling follow up from the start to the final stage.
∎ Has to keep proper communication with Buyer and brand designer.
