Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare and manage the daily duty roster for security personnel, ensuring attendance as per schedule.
∎ Oversee the appearance and conduct of security guards, ensuring they maintain proper attire, cleanliness, and follow instructions from management.
∎ Assist and support guards in their daily tasks, addressing any concerns and providing guidance.
∎ Conduct regular patrols and inspections of security posts and hospital areas, resolving any issues and reporting back to the Security Manager.
∎ Conduct hourly checks of all hospital doors, the OPD area, and parking lots across all shifts.
∎ Confront and question unauthorized persons, ensuring security protocols are followed.
∎ Handle incidents, including medical emergencies, and compile incident reports, collaborating with other departments as necessary.
∎ Inspect essential security equipment such as CCTV cameras, access control points, fire extinguishers, and fire exits to ensure they are functioning properly.
∎ Monitor and supervise the entry and exit of people and goods, ensuring compliance with hospital security policies.
∎ Ensure all found items are securely stored in the lost and found.
∎ Supervise guards in all hospital areas, particularly during events, and conduct training sessions for security staff.
∎ Notify relevant teams, including fire services, in the event of fire or other emergencies.
∎ Patrol hospital grounds to prevent unauthorized access and ensure vehicles are parked in appropriate areas.
∎ Escort hospital personnel as needed and assist visitors with directions within the hospital.
∎ Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
∎ Job Summary:
∎ Bangladesh Specialized Hospital is looking for a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee and manage the security operations of our facility. The selected candidate will ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors, while maintaining high standards of security protocols. Reporting directly to the Security Manager, the supervisor will play a key role in managing security personnel and safeguarding hospital premises.
