∎ Certification on Fire Fighting, First Aid & Rescue Operations would be an added advantage

∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Must be served in Defense Forces i.e. Army/Navy/Air Force as a Warrant Officer/Senior Warrant Officer or equivalent rank and retired from Army/Navy/ Air Force normally on Age/Service Limit.
∎ Able to resolve conflicts guests, supervisor and employee
∎ Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
∎ Knowledge of local security regulations is preferred§ Good oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Context: To safeguard customers, employees and assets of hotel by executing sound security and emergency practices
∎ Responsibilities:
∎ Detects potential sources of security problems, safety hazards and fire hazards by maintaining surveillance of hotel
∎ Patrols hotel on a regular basis.
∎ Ensures all hotel entrances are locked and unlocked as per hotel policy
∎ Maintains hotel key management procedures and ensures that all keys are accounted for.
∎ Closes down the different outlets each night.
∎ Ensures that all meeting rooms and exhibition rooms are secured.
∎ Completes daily log, including pertinent information from the shift.
∎ Handles complaints, investigates and thoroughly reports on customer or employee injuries, worker’s compensation claims, thefts, assaults, lost property, car accidents, loud parties, vandalism and other customer complaints as necessary
∎ Takes appropriate action on hotel cleanliness issues and general hotel services
∎ Responds to emergencies, co-ordinates the partial or complete evacuation of the hotel in instances such as fire, armed robbery, severe injuries, power failure or bomb threats as necessary
∎ Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Yes I Can! experience through performance
∎ Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service and experience
∎ Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
∎ Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
∎ Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
∎ Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality
∎ Adheres to hotel policies and procedures
∎ Attends work on time as scheduled.
∎ Follows hotel grooming and hygiene standards.
∎ Minimizes safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.
∎ Keeps immediate manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
∎ Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
∎ Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote co-operative and harmonious working climate.
∎ At all time projects a favorable image of Brand to the public
