Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation in any discipline from a reputed University. This requirement may be relaxed for the exceptional candidates.
∎ Recent certification course or training on security and safety would be preferred
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handle visitors and guest at time of their entry.
∎ Ensure that security personnel posted at the entry gate are performing their job effectively.
∎ Ensure smooth flow of vehicles at main entry drop-off and pick-up point
∎ Ensure that vehicles are not parked in unauthorized areas.
∎ Manage/control vehicular entry into the campus
∎ Assist security in-charge in supervising security and safety issues.
∎ Train and supervise security guards from time to time.
∎ Ensure the safety of faculty, staff and students within the university.
∎ Prohibit entrance of any kinds of alcohol, drugs, arms and any other harmful objects.
∎ Keep vigilant watch on the students to avoid any untoward incidents.
∎ Maintain liaison with local law enforcing agencies, other Govt officials and local influential people, as required.
∎ Report any violence and accident/incident to the Security In-charge.
∎ Support Registrar, Proctor and his/her team in any required situation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Should have at least 2 years of experience in the relevant field
∎ Excellent interpersonal, communication skills in Bangla; and functional reading and writing skills in English
∎ Emailing, Google Search and report preparation skills
∎ Ability to work independently and take initiative in crisis management.
∎ Ability to handle/monitor CCTV devices and equipment
