Role Summary

The Residential Hostel Supervisor (Female) will live inside the hostel and oversee the day-to-day supervision of students’ well-being, education, discipline, and hostel life. She will also coordinate daily routines, manage food preparation with the cook, and ensure that hostel rules are followed.

The role requires a caring personality, strong management skills, and cultural understanding. Candidates must belong to Chakma, Marma, Tripuri (Kudruni), or Garo (Ghrushti) communities to ensure close cultural alignment with the children.

Key Responsibilities

Student Supervision & Welfare

• Oversee daily routines of students, including study time, meals, hygiene, and recreation.

• Provide guidance, mentoring, and emotional support to children living in the hostel.

• Ensure students follow hostel rules and maintain discipline.
  

Education Support

• Supervise evening study sessions and assist with basic educational needs.

• Report on students’ progress and well-being to the Project Coordinator.
  

Hostel Operations

• Manage and supervise the cook to ensure timely, nutritious, and hygienic meals.

• Monitor hostel cleanliness, safety, and security.

• Maintain records of daily activities, student attendance, and any incidents.
  

Community Living

• Act as a role model, fostering a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment.

• Build trust with parents and guardians during visits or communications.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Minimum HSC

• Experience: At least 2–3 years in hostel supervision, teaching, or community childcare

• Cultural Requirement: Must be female and from Chakma, Marma, Tripuri (Kudruni), Mro or Garo (Ghrushti) communities

• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Personality: Patient, caring, and responsible

• Genuine interest in children's growth

• Language: Bangla (required), local indigenous language (preferred)
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: BDT 12,000/month during probation; BDT 15,000/month after probation.

  পদের সারসংক্ষেপ

  আবাসিক হোস্টেল সুপারভাইজার (মহিলা) হোস্টেলের ভিতরে অবস্থান করে শিক্ষার্থীদের দৈনন্দিন তদারকি, শিক্ষা, শৃঙ্খলা এবং হোস্টেল জীবনযাত্রা পরিচালনা করবেন। তিনি শিক্ষার্থীদের দৈনন্দিন রুটিন সমন্বয় করবেন, রান্নার কর্মীকে পরিচালনা করবেন এবং হোস্টেলের নিয়মকানুন নিশ্চিত করবেন।

  এই পদে একজন যত্নশীল ব্যক্তিত্ব, দৃঢ় ব্যবস্থাপনা দক্ষতা এবং সাংস্কৃতিক বোঝাপড়া প্রয়োজন। প্রার্থীকে অবশ্যই চাকমা, মারমা, ত্রিপুরা (কুদরুনি), ম্রো অথবা গারো (ঘৃষ্টি) সম্প্রদায়ভুক্ত মহিলা হতে হবে।

  শিক্ষার্থী তদারকি ও কল্যাণ

  • শিক্ষার্থীদের দৈনন্দিন রুটিন যেমন পড়াশোনা, খাবার, স্বাস্থ্যবিধি ও বিনোদন তদারকি করা।

  • শিশুদের দিকনির্দেশনা, পরামর্শ ও মানসিক সহায়তা প্রদান করা।

  • শিক্ষার্থীরা হোস্টেলের নিয়ম মেনে চলছে তা নিশ্চিত করা।
    
    

  শিক্ষা সহায়তা

  • সন্ধ্যার পড়াশোনা তদারকি ও প্রয়োজনীয় শিক্ষাগত সহায়তা প্রদান।

  • শিক্ষার্থীদের অগ্রগতি ও কল্যাণ সম্পর্কে প্রজেক্ট কো-অর্ডিনেটরকে প্রতিবেদন প্রদান।
    
    

  হোস্টেল পরিচালনা

  • রান্নার কর্মীকে পরিচালনা করা এবং সময়মতো স্বাস্থ্যকর ও পুষ্টিকর খাবার নিশ্চিত করা।

  • হোস্টেলের পরিচ্ছন্নতা, নিরাপত্তা ও শৃঙ্খলা বজায় রাখা।

  • দৈনন্দিন কার্যক্রম, শিক্ষার্থীদের উপস্থিতি ও যেকোনো ঘটনার রেকর্ড সংরক্ষণ করা।
    
    

  কমিউনিটি লিভিং

  • একটি নিরাপদ, সম্মানজনক ও যত্নশীল পরিবেশ তৈরি করা।

  • অভিভাবকদের সাথে আস্থা ও সুসম্পর্ক বজায় রাখা।
    
    

  যোগ্যতা ও দক্ষতা

  • শিক্ষা: ন্যূনতম এইচএসসি

  • অভিজ্ঞতা: হোস্টেল তদারকি, শিক্ষকতা বা শিশু যত্নে অন্তত ২–৩ বছরের অভিজ্ঞতা

  • সাংস্কৃতিক শর্ত: মহিলা হতে হবে এবং চাকমা, মারমা, ত্রিপুরা (কুদরুনি), ম্রো অথবা গারো (ঘৃষ্টি) সম্প্রদায়ভুক্ত হতে হবে

  • দক্ষতা: শক্তিশালী সাংগঠনিক ক্ষমতা, যোগাযোগ দক্ষতা ও সমস্যা সমাধানের যোগ্যতা
