∎ JOB SUMMARY
∎ The Research Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and monitoring of a Helping Babies Breathe (HBB) training project. The project is a joint effort between MedGlobal, AAP, and UNFPA to assess the effects of virtual HBB training plus low-dose/high frequency practice among healthcare workers, including cognitive and skills-based performance.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Liaising with Trainee facilities to collect data, coordinate trainee schedules, and support continued learning
∎ Coordinating group training logistics while following local COVID-19 guidelines
∎ Selecting Master Trainers to support in-person trainings
∎ Organizing focus groups or feedback surveys and report findings
∎ Representing MedGlobal in communication with partners such as UNFPA
∎ Managing of project inventory (Neonatalies, tablets, wifi routers)
∎ Conducting monthly site visits
∎ Troubleshooting issues that arise related to trainees, training devices, internet access, etc.
∎ Providing regular project updates for the donor
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 years of experience in a healthcare NGO environment
∎ Minimum of a Bachelors degree in any discipline
∎ Familiarity with medical ethics and research protocols
∎ Track record of successful training project implementation
∎ Proficiency in the use of Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and telecommunications platforms
∎ Proven ability to develop and maintain professional partner relationships
