Educational Requirements:
∎ A Master's degree in any area of study that covers qualitative research concepts and methods (preferably Anthropology, Sociology, Public Health and Development Studies).
∎ Experience with one or more of the following programmes- ATLAS.ti, NVivo.
∎ Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
∎ Excellent writing and presentation skills in both Bangla and English.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ ULAB is looking for a Research Associate to work in an International Multidisciplinary Research Project and to support a newly proposed research center (one year contract, subject to renew) to perform the following responsibilities:
∎ Conduct qualitative research study activities including the recruitment, screening, in-depth interviews, data collection for qualitative research study participants according to the study protocol and standard operating procedures as well as analysing and interpreting qualitative data.
∎ Coordinate the research project activities and liaison with national and international partners.
∎ Manage collaborative research meetings, conference lines, attending and taking notes as needed.
∎ Write research/grant proposal under minimal supervision.
∎ Prepare detailed progress report and participate in regular meetings of the study team
∎ Arrange logistical and administrative details related to the collaborative research meetings conference lines, attending and taking notes as needed as well as site visits
Additional Requirements:
∎ Familiarity with or a willing to learn new tools for data gathering and analysis.
∎ Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and work with others to resolve challenges.
∎ An eye for information visualization.
∎ Ability to run workshops and short courses on qualitative research methods.
Salary: Tk. 40000 - 50000 (Monthly)
