∎ JOB SUMMARY
∎ The Research Associate (RA) will be responsible to assist the Research Coordinator (RC) in data collection and preparing research documents. RA will also be regarded as the HBB Project Coordinator and will be responsible to Country Representative through RC. RA will oversee the Helping Babies Breathe (HBB) training and coordinate among all participating Master Trainers and Trainees. The project is a joint effort between MedGlobal, AAP, and UNFPA to assess the effects of virtual HBB training plus low-dose/high frequency practice among healthcare workers, including cognitive and skills-based performance.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist RC to liaising with Trainee facilities to collect data, coordinate trainee schedules, and support continued learning
∎ Ensure all training materials are in training venue on time and distributed among concerned.
∎ Assist RC for logistics as necessary to comply with the local COVID-19 guidelines
∎ Selecting Master Trainers to support in-person trainings
∎ Contact and communicate with RC at all times and assist RC in coordinating with all concerned persons and organizations.
∎ Ensure safety and security of project assets and return all staff to MedGlobal, Cox's Bazar office on completion of the project.
∎ Coordinate with MedGlobal office for transport for own field visits and accompany RC for site visits, if needed.
∎ Assist RC for regular project updates for the donor
∎ Submit requisition at least two days' notice to MedGlobal office if a transport is needed for field visit.
∎ Any other duty given by RC
Additional Requirements:
∎ 1 year of experience as Nurse/Midwife.
∎ At least 6 months working experience in a hospital/Clinic.
∎ Should have basic knowledge in computer operations.
∎ Should have at least 6 months experience in working with Physicians.
∎ Expected to be resilient, RA is expected sometimes to be working beyond working hours.
∎ Should be prepared for traveling to fields for data collection.
