Job Context:
∎ Contract Duration: One-year renewable contract with Waterkeepers Bangladesh (WKB), administered by BPI
∎ Contract Starts: As soon as possible
∎ Reporting to: The Manager Research and Implementation
Job Responsibilities:
∎ KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive):
∎ To gather information with clear direction to support the drafting of documents and preparing reports for the Manager.
∎ To respond queries and escalate where appropriate, in order to provide a timely and accurate service.
∎ To maintain calendar, schedule appointments and meetings and follow up.
∎ To support processing and managing routine research tasks in various functional areas.
∎ To provide revision and proofreading services for standard documents, to contribute to the development of accurate documentation.
∎ To identify simple discrepancies in statistics and data, such as missing information, and report to support the Manager for delivering his work.
∎ To take responsibility for data integrity to facilitate availability of accurate information in corporate systems.
∎ To participate in the organization and preparation of staff meetings or special events.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience: At least 2 years of experience in general administrative work.
∎ Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in Bengali and understanding capacity in English.
Salary: Negotiable
