Experience:
Prior 5 years of experience in public health research (experience in RCT or clinical trials is preferable).
Skills:
Basic knowledge of research participant recruitment, data collection & management, data quality maintenance
Statistical software, preferably “R” and or “SPSS.”
Ability to conduct literature review, report writing, and dissemination
Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ethical guidelines
Good communication skills (Bengali and English)
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and PowerPoint
The ACROSS Project is a five-year global health research program funded by the UK's National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), led by the University of Glasgow in partnership with the Bangladesh University of Health Sciences as its academic partner. The project aims to co-develop a culturally and contextually appropriate, affordable home-based cardiac rehabilitation model for people living with coronary heart disease and/or heart failure with depression or anxiety. The initiative will evaluate the acceptability, clinical effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness of this model across South Asia, aiming to increase health service capacity and improve outcomes for patients with heart disease and mental health conditions in LMICs.

Job Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh (different study sites within Dhaka city)
Duration: 3 years, with the option to extend as needed.
Starting from: 1st July 2026
Key Responsibilities
Assist in literature reviews, data collection, and data entry at study sites
Support participant recruitment, screening, and follow-up as per protocol
Help prepare study materials, consent forms, and SOPs
Arrange logistical support for meetings, training, and field activities
Maintain accurate study records and assist in basic data management
Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the Project Manager
Comply with the NIHR research agreement and confidentiality clauses
Employment Terms
Probation Period: 6 months (depending on position)
Termination Notice: 1 month from either side with salary or reimbursement or vice versa
Intellectual Property: Governed by NIHR contract
Governing Law: Laws of Bangladesh and NIHR contract terms
Negotiable as per project outline.
