Responsibilities & Context:
  • Greet all patients, attendants, and visitors warmly and professionally.
  • Guide patients through the registration process and direct them to relevant departments.
  • Manage incoming calls, appointment bookings, and general inquiries efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and calm front desk environment.
  • Coordinate with nursing stations, OPD units, and diagnostic departments for smooth patient flow.
  • Act as a primary liaison between patients and hospital departments to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Address patient complaints, concerns, or feedback promptly and escalate unresolved issues to management.
  • Conduct satisfaction surveys and assist in preparing reports on patient feedback.
  • Educate patients on hospital policies, procedures, billing protocols, and available services.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient rights and dignity at all times.
  • Assist in patient admissions, discharges, and billing coordination.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update databases/CRM systems where applicable.
  • Track and report daily footfall, appointment status, and service delays to management.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, pharmacy, and laboratory teams for coordinated patient support.
  • Ensure availability of brochures, feedback forms, and patient education materials at reception.
