Job Context:
∎ To lead as a Manager of Quality of Woven Division and support the achievement of woven division`s objectives, this position requires solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Garments Quality. The incumbent will be act as a change agent to accelerate organizational development and overall transformation. It requires to strong acumen & capacity to work under general direction and serves as the administrative and functional point person for the Garments Quality matters.
∎ The position will be act as a strategic thinker and manage all the Garment Unit`s inter-related activities. The Manager of Quality ensures that the woven division`s products and services are in compliance with the company`s quality requirements, in addition to complying with customer and regulatory requirements for quality, safety, and reliability. The Company seeks a talented and aspiring candidate who would join our team and meaningfully contribute to the efforts to reach the organization`s goal.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the development, implementation, and strict adherence to a quality program;
∎ Develops and/or reviews standards, policies, and procedures for all functions and departments involved with or related to the production of all products;
∎ Develop and lead Quality Assurance by configuring world class Garment manufacturing and operating profit to the company;
∎ Reviews and resolves quality control problems/concerns with the Quality Control Manager and others including vendors, customers, quality control personnel, and any personnel related to production. Coordinates and assists with vendor inspections;
∎ Manage and maintain the quality standard and rules and regulations for achieving the required quality of the garments;
∎ Periodically inspects completed quality control checklists, forms, and other documents; randomly inspects and verifies quality control checks for conformance to prescribed standards;
∎ Bring sustainable efficiency improvements by identifying the bottlenecks and initiate necessary measures;
∎ Make a bridge with Production-Quality for reducing gaps in understanding of both functions to co-ordinate with Production and Merchandizing department;
∎ Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attribute;
∎ Update information on technical operations and cost parameters at every stage of the quality process and conduct audits and monitor first article and first piece inspection and report;
∎ Receives and reviews all customer satisfaction surveys and customer contacts and complaints. Reviews complaint trends and product/component failure analysis; reviews corrective actions with appropriate personnel;
∎ Compile quality control reports, create statistical process control metrics, manage non-conformity material discrepancy reports, recommend continuous improvement activities;
∎ Implement quality training programs for key quality & manufacturing personnel and also supply chain partners;
∎ Prepares reports and other documentation required by regulatory agencies and to support the quality function;
∎ Monthly performance status report preparation and submission to the Management;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 10 years of experience in similar role in any large RMG Industry
∎ Strong business acumen and exceptional interpersonal and communication skill;
∎ Demonstrate competency with strategic planning;
∎ Good knowledge in Accounting Software, data analysis and performance/operation metrics;
∎ In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practice;
∎ Aptitude to decision making and problem solving ability;
∎ Excellent management leadership skills as well as facilitation and capacity building for inter-linkages;
∎ Conceptual, analytical, documentation and presentation skills;
∎ Excellent team player, independent, positive attitude and result oriented;
∎ Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and all other levels in the factory;
∎ Strong people management skills - fairness and ability to motivate and manage the team;
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
