Responsibilities & Context:
Testing Raw Materials: Inspecting herbs and minerals for purity and identity according to Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia standards.
In-Process Monitoring: Checking pH, temperature, and consistency during the manufacturing of Churnas, Vatis, or Arishtas.
Finished Product Analysis: Testing the final batch for organoleptic properties, moisture content, and microbial safety.
Documentation: Maintaining Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and issuing Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for every lot.
Stability Studies: Conducting shelf-life testing to ensure the medicine remains effective until its expiry date.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all laboratory activities follow GMP guidelines and Ministry of AYUSH regulations.
