Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain and update digital library system.
∎ Responsible for the overall managing of the Library
∎ Linkage for new resources and maintain current resource
∎ Maintain a full and working knowledge of library software
∎ Ensure Current Awareness Service (CAS)
∎ Perform the circulation system
∎ Manage inventory system
∎ Perform acquisition, processing and maintain the records
∎ Requisite reporting, documentation and maintain database
∎ Comfortable with handling audio visual materials
∎ Arrange book fair
∎ Order, Purchase and receive Books for the school Library
∎ Punctual for arrival at school, to class for playground supervision
∎ Conduct the library classes
∎ Prepares lesson plan and daily plan according to the theme
∎ Ensures friendly classroom environment to get the children settled in
∎ Knows learning capabilities of individual students
∎ Provides individual and collaborative learning opportunities
∎ Uses DOTT time efficiently for planning meeting with parents and administrative tasks
∎ Assess the children's reading level by doing the running record
∎ Run the reading intervention program
∎ Organize Book Week and Book Fair
∎ Maintain the library inventory
∎ Support to Library users to find their required information and resource
∎ Help new users to get to know all the sections of the library
∎ Ensure quality support to a team of researcher to do their research work smoothly
∎ Do the stock management, update user database
∎ Prepare notice for default users
∎ Communicate with the Donor Organizations to get free library materials
∎ Visit different organization to collect library resource as donation, such as: Asia Foundation
∎ Update the Library database regularly
∎ Place Book Order to different overseas Publishers
∎ Do the other works as assigned
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Must have a good computer skills
∎ Teaching experience in International English medium school is must;
∎ Having good command in writing and speaking English
∎ Having working experience in any IB school will get preference
