We are hiring a Purchase Lead to keep a steady, cost-competitive supply of rice that meets our approved specifications. The work covers sourcing strategy, developing suppliers and millers, negotiating prices, planning purchases and keeping procurement under control. We will fill it at Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Manager level depending on the selected candidate's experience.

  • Recommend to management the sourcing mix by variety, grade and region, and the timing of purchases.

  • Find, evaluate and keep an approved list of millers and suppliers across the main sourcing regions, and visit suppliers together with QC.
