∎ Possible Contract Starting Date: September 01, 2019

Job Responsibilities:
∎ assisting the national and international experts for reviewing the literature and relevant materials on international procedures of sentence planning
∎ co-facilitating workshops and dialogues for developing Sentence planning guidelines with relevant government and non-government bodies
∎ supporting to develop Sentence Planning framework and implementation plan in line with Prison Act and international standard
∎ supporting to prepare the training outlines, providing guidance on Sentence planning and implement possible roll out approach
∎ co-facilitating training on sentence planning
∎ supporting partnership between Prisons Department with relevant GOs and NGOs for rehabilitation of the prisoners
∎ providing technical guidance to the Prison Directorate to implement the Sentence Planning
∎ supporting to prepare roll-out strategy of sentence planning for Prisons Directorate
∎ preparing appropriate materials in consultation with the relevant staff members from Rule of GIZ

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years proven track record in in national / international development organisation
∎ Familiarity with Governance and Criminal Justice Sector Programme will be an added advantage
∎ Facilitating training is preferable
∎ Fluent in English and Bangla
∎ Strong knowledge on Microsoft Office
∎ Interpersonal and diplomatic skills to establish and maintain a fruitful dialogue with Government and Civil society, conducive to the implementation of the programme
∎ Complying with the line management / matrix management
∎ Woking in the human rights sector will be an added advantage
∎ Strong organizational skills
∎ Self-starter
