Job Context:
∎ REPORTS TO : PROJECT COORDINATOR
∎ GRADE : 17PM

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organize training, meetings, workshops in accordance with the CBC project plan.
∎ Foster relationships with value chain actors and their production, conduct site visits, market biofortification and collect feedback as per requirement of the project
∎ Collect necessary market information and explore market segments for biofortified crops.
∎ Assist supervisor in planning and writing reports to overall project
∎ Assist in small scale surveys and research
∎ Assist to develop and communicate activity protocol with the partner organizations, train them and help in implementation
∎ Monitor implementation activities at field
∎ Set up meetings with potential zinc rice seed and grain business, listen to their wishes and concerns and record feedback
∎ Communicate product information to different stakeholders as required
∎ Maintain a database of contacts in the value chain including SMEs and entrepreneurs
∎ Communicate effectively with different departments within HarvestPlus, GAIN and all external stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 1- 3 years of experience working in agricultural marketing, seed industry or food industry
∎ Experience in agriculture/livelihood project or program coordination, office management, financial management, operations.
∎ Strong collaboration skills and experience in creating effective partnerships.
∎ Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines.
∎ Excellent time management skills and ability to work effectively under pressure during peak seasonal periods.
∎ Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, show initiative, and work productively as part of a team.
∎ Excellent oral and written English and Bengali language skills.
∎ Experience working with supply chain actors including farming, seed systems, milling, food processing or food marketing.
∎ Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills and strong decision-making skills.
∎ Computer literate in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and experience in report writing.
∎ Experience with monitoring and documentation of fields activities.
∎ Experience and ability to work with different cultures and countries.
∎ Willingness to travel extensively in the field.
∎ Employee will seat in an upright position for a long period of time as well as field visit.
∎ Employee will lift between 0-10pounds
∎ Employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing computer terminal; extensive reading
∎ Some meetings may occur outside of normal office hours due to being part of a global organizational structure.
