Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring communication and information flow on capacity building including training between different functions within GIZ and externally with partners and stakeholders
∎ Ensuring oversight of capacity development of the Paralegals, partners and stakeholders
∎ Supporting to prepare the training outlines, providing guidance on Paralegal Advisory Service (PAS) and implement possible capacity development approach
∎ Supporting to prepare capacity building strategy for Paralegals and Partners
∎ Coordinating and implementing case management approaches in different relevant forums
∎ Supporting partnership between relevant GOs and NGOs
∎ Contributes in planning process of Paralegal Advisory Service for implementing and monitoring of day to day PAS activities

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years' experience in relevant field of human rights and legal aid
∎ Working as a practising lawyer at least for 2/3 years
∎ Extensive experience of working with external stakeholders at local and national level
∎ Knowledge of existing in-country training institutes and experts
∎ Knowledge and understanding of the criminal justice sector
∎ In-depth understanding of the development issues particularly those affecting the governance sector and rule of law
∎ Strong writing, reporting and documentation skills in both Bangla and English
∎ Strong communication and inter-personal skills
∎ Proven ability in self-organisation, to work independently, under pressure and deliver on time
∎ Proven ability to work as a team member and also to lead a team
∎ Proven commitment to gender equality and disability
