Job Context:
∎ Background: The Project Manager will help to oversee a significant and challenging project of work in Bangladesh. S/he will be responsible for the implementation of all the ECOFISH project activities and will facilitate and streamline processes needed to achieve the results and to report to the donor. The project manager will provide guidance, coordination, and technical support to the WorldFish staff working on the ECOFISH project, including implementing partners, and sub-implementing partners, will manage and oversee multiple sub-awards and contracts. The incumbent will also assist in developing quarterly and annually reports incorporating inputs from scientists and specialists in collaboration with Monitoring & Evaluation.
∎ Time frame and location: This position will be based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Interviews are expected to be held in June 2019 and shortlisted candidate will be expected to attend the interview session. The successful candidate should be available to commence as soon as possible. Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the Project Leader in managing all project activities for better implementation.
∎ Generate the conditions and enable the processes leading to high-quality results, including technical and financial reporting and sub-award/contracts management and to comply with donors and WorldFish's policies.
∎ Arrange and provide necessary inputs to the beneficiaries in project sites with the recommendation of the field research team.
∎ Coordinate all WorldFish partners and generate synergies among various project components and teams.
∎ Coordinate and monitor the compliance of sub-contracts.
∎ Assist the Project Leader in quarterly and annually report writings and others.
∎ Conduct the processes of annual planning and quarterly/annually reporting at a national level.
∎ Convene, conduct and follow-up WorldFish's Technical Support Committee meetings/workshops/training programs.
∎ Assist to ensure proper coordination and synergies at the field level.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years' of experience in large scale donor funded project management environments.
∎ Extensive experience of program / project management with a proven track record of timely submission of high quality project deliverable.
∎ Experience in participatory planning and development techniques and livelihoods approaches in support of natural resources management or community development projects.
∎ Excellent planning and organizational skills with an ability to handle conflicting priorities.
∎ Ability to write and present clear, concise and convincing reports and strategies.
∎ Excellent communications and technical skills, fluent in spoken and written in English with excellent presentation skills.
∎ Strong in essential computer/software packages e.g. Microsoft.
∎ Willingness to travel domestically on a regular basis, and occasionally internationally.
∎ Desired Skills and Qualifications
∎ A self-starter, innovative attitude able to apply initiative problem solving techniques to new, challenging situations and an ability to priorities. Effective self-management and motivation.
∎ Strong analytical skills with demonstrable evidence of turning management information into a program of continual improvement.
∎ Experience in the use of project management resource tools such as MS project, risk management and benefits management.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 110000 - 130000 (Monthly)
∎ This is a six (6) months temporary position with salary ranging between BDT 110,000 to BDT 130,000 per month.
