Job Context:
∎ SHIMANTIK- a national NGO of Bangladesh implementing `Developing Midwives Project (DMP)in Sylhet in partnership with James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University, funded by the UK Government since 2012. In order to support the project team for quality implementation,SHIMANTIK is going to recruit one Project Manager. SHIMANTIK is looking for a qualified candidates as Project Manager under`Developing Midwives Project`.
∎ Job Location: Sylhet City.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsibility:
∎ Project Manager will overall responsible for the Developing Midwives Project.
∎ He/She is the key person of the project supervising,planning, monitoring and liaison maintain with BRACU,others stakeholder.
∎ Project Manager will participate on the project management team meeting and play the key role in developing and finalizing quarterly/yearly work plans and reports.
∎ Project Manager will ensure coordination of all level advocacies.
∎ SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY:
∎ Overall responsible of DMP all activities.
∎ Ensure students learning environment (like skill lab,library,computer lab etc).
∎ Create appropriate working environment for project staff including leave approve and yearly appraisal.
∎ Monitoring and evaluate all the project activities.
∎ Ensure quarterly/yearly work plans and reports preparation and timely submission to BRACU.
∎ Coordinate and support to residential students and hostel management.
∎ Project proposal review & budget modification and maintain all procedure financial.
∎ Organize meeting with GO/NGO,CAG others stakeholders.
∎ Create opportunity for students clinical placement and keep good relationship with the authority.
∎ Carry out all the administrative tasks as assigned by Shimantik higher authority.

∎ At least 8 year(s) working experiences in NGO project Management.
