∎ At least 8-10 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the agriculture or livestock sector.
∎ Proven experience working with value chain development, particularly in beef and goat production, is highly desirable.
∎ Experience working with international NGOs or donor-funded programs is a plus.
∎ Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and reporting.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
∎ Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation techniques.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Fluency in Bangla and English, both written and spoken, is required.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision to stand in solidarity with the poor and marginalized. Being a peoples' centered organization, ESDO envisioned for a society which will be free from inequality and injustice, a society where no child will cry from hunger and no life will be ruined by poverty. Near about three decades of relentless efforts to make this happen, ESDO has embraced new grounds and opened up new horizons to help the disadvantaged and vulnerable people to bring meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. During this long span, ESDO has adapted with the changing situation and provided the most time-bound services especially for the poor and disadvantaged. A community focused and people centered approach has been adapted by ESDO while consideration was given to the national policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its guiding principle. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 331 upazilas under 54 districts of Bangladesh covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.
∎ As partnership with Heifer International, ESDO is implementing the ‘‘BD Beef and Goat Value Chain Signature Program’’ at Rajshahi District. ESDO is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position.
∎ Over all administration & Management of the Project (Planning & monitoring backstopping coordination).
∎ Coordinating in project Implementation, planning, budget preparation & revision.
∎ Project Information Management & reporting to project partner office and Heifer country office.
∎ Networking with relevant stakeholders to ensure technical support to livestock’s & Agriculture including making communication of progress & success stories through various media.
∎ Follow up support to Self Help Group (SHG) fund information & Resource mobilization/Leveraging at local level through different innovative approaches.
∎ Use Heifer VBHCD, market system development model as powerful tool for community development in project funded by heifer & others.
∎ Facilitate in PMC planning & PSRP follow up quarterly.
∎ Staff capacity assessment & development through training coaching & monitoring & exposure visit
∎ Develop project information database with regular update.
∎ Coordinate & communication with local value chain actor & organize meetings.
∎ Coordinate with finance person on financial record keeping & reporting on a regular basis to CP office.
∎ Facilitate in the formation and strengthening cooperative, its management and business development.
∎ Prepare all activities report on regular basis submit it to ESDO & Heifer.
∎ Undertake any addition responsibility assigned by the Executive Director as and when required.
∎ Work under the supervision of assigned person of Heifer International and ESDO Foundation.
∎ Program innovations and promote climate smart agriculture.
