Job Context:
∎ Agrajattra is a national uplifting NGO based in Cox’s Bazar. It is working since 1998 in Bangladesh. Currently it is working diversified donor’s funded project. Among them IRC is prime donor of AGRAJATTAR and funding for child protection since 2021. Very recently AGRAJATTA has been signed an Agreement with IRC for implementing “LAST MILE EDUCATION” Project. It is mentioned able that One of the impacts of COVID-19 is that an unprecedented 1.6 billion students across the world have been out of school; however, 258 million children were already out of school before the pandemic. The impact of COVID-19 has been also found in Bangladesh to drop out the children from both primary and secondary education. Cox’s Bazar district is very leg-behind in education rather than others district of Bangladesh and dropout rate from primary education is highest compared that others district.
∎ In response to this crisis, we will implement an innovative program in Bangladesh that reaches last-mile children and parents, and caregivers, providing them with quality education solutions. Our approach to reaching these last-mile children with a quality education has three areas of focus:
∎ Meet children where they are both physically and cognitively, with flexible, student-centered learning that they can access in or close to their homes.
∎ Break down barriers to school entry and support children’s integration into schools once they are ready; and
∎ Prepare schoolteachers to integrate children with specific needs into their classrooms and equip teachers and students for future school disruption.
∎ This project will cover both Ramu and Moheskhali upazila under Cox’s Bazar District. AGRAJATTRA and IRC have entered in a partnership to respond to ensure quality education with platform-based localized and scalable solutions for last-mile learners and caregivers in crisis-affected areas in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identify project location and beneficiary for project implementation.
∎ Conduct Learner outreach
∎ Support capacity-building initiatives for Learning Facilitators/ Community Volunteers.
∎ Daily follow-up with Learning Facilitators/Community Volunteers to ensure quality sessions.
∎ Facilitate quality awareness session with caregivers of targeted children Regular supervision of facilitators at field level for project service delivery.
∎ Ensure incentives for the facilitators with necessary all documents on time.
∎ Mobilize community partners and ensure their active engagement in the project’s cycle.
∎ Facilitate awareness initiatives at camps and host.
∎ Develop weekly/monthly work plans for teachers/ facilitators.
∎ Ensure quantitative and qualitative data as per MEAL requirements.
∎ Identify field-related challenges/gaps and develop alternative plan/s to mitigate the challenges/gaps.
∎ Assessing field-level logistic needs and ensure logistic supply timely at the field
∎ Conduct meeting or dialogues with parents and caregivers of the learners through court yard meeting
∎ Regular visit the learning centers as per plan and provide feedback report for changing strategy and approach.
∎ Capacity building to the teachers/ facilitator for properly record keeping of learners attendance and others issues
∎ Others Tasks: Any others assign task related to project aspect by the management and also donor

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Additional certifications that exemplify a desire for continued education preferred
∎ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving
∎ Able to proactively address potential issues
∎ Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite
∎ Significant hands-on experience with industry-specific software
∎ Collaborative working style and team-player attitude

Salary: Tk. 36000 - 36603 (Monthly)
