Educational Requirements:
∎ DVM/ B.Sc or M.Sc in Animal Husbandry/Livestock/Agriculture from any recognized University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for ensuring ESDO small scale livestock activities particularly the cow rearing, beef fattening, goat rearing, poultry rearing etc.
∎ Developed different training materials, such as handout, flipchart, poster, leaflet and brushier on cow rearing, beef fattening, goat rearing, poultry rearing etc.
∎ Organize and conduction out sourced training program, meeting and workshop on various issues.
∎ Supervision, monitoring and evaluation, asses the training need and impact of the training
∎ Ensure quality training for beneficiaries is benign conducted & updated
∎ Assists annual work plan, yearly budget, progress report and documentation
∎ Will play a key role in ensuring targeted poor farmers have access to implement small scale livestock activities that will bring remarkable positive impacts on beneficiaries live and livelihoods towards a sustainable development?
∎ She/he will also help to oversee all the interventions under this project.
∎ Spend at least 75% time for field level technical supports for target beneficiaries and field staff and other stakeholders of the project.
∎ Monitor the daily field activities through field visits and provide necessary technical assistance.
∎ Additional responsibility for goat breeding firm.
∎ Coordinate and liaison with different GO & PNGO.
∎ Any other task assigned by the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3 years practical experience in agriculture and market development projects as mid-level position.
∎ Candidate must have analytical skill & Computer skill
∎ S/he will have report writing skill both in Bengali and English
∎ Must have attractive presentation and facilitation skills.
∎ ESDO Management may revise the job description as and when feel necessary to do so
∎ Should have mentality for working in field level at the rural area with extreme poor people.
∎ Valid Motorcycle driving license add extra value.
