Job Context:
∎ Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision to stand in solidarity with the poor and marginalized. Being a peoples` centered organization, ESDO envisioned for a society which will be free from inequality and injustice, a society where no child will cry from hunger and no life will be ruined by poverty. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 283 upazilas under 49 districts of Bangladesh covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.
∎ As partnership with CARE Bangladesh, ESDO will implement the Strengthening Household Ability to Respond to Development Opportunities SHOUHARDO-III Plus Project in Jamalpur District.
∎ ESDO is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead Agriculture& Livelihoods and Nutrition components at Upazila level
∎ Provide technical support to the project team; capacity building of Field Facilitator in the area of Agriculture, Financial Inclusion and Nutrition
∎ Responsible to mobilize Local Service Providers (LSPs) in the area of Agriculture, Financial Inclusion, Nutrition.
∎ Support program teams including FFs to integrate Agriculture, Financial Inclusion, Nutrition, Gender towards achieving program goal.
∎ Maintain coordination and collaboration with Upazila level Govt. departments (DAE, DLS, DoL, UpZ Health & Family Planning Office) including private sector’s partners
∎ Provide day-today operational support to Field Facilitators including performance management, capacity building etc.
∎ Responsible for timely implementation of DIP activity
∎ Prepare QPR, AR, Success story or any other report program need.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by PM
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ In case of highly experience staff age limit is flexible.
∎ At least 4 years working experience in any National/International NGO. Educational qualification may be relaxed in case of highly qualified candidate.
∎ Having solid working experience in Nutrition and Agriculture components preferably in USAID funded program
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Computer skill on MS word, excel, power point, virtual communication (zoom, teams etc.) and others.
Salary: Tk. 41574 (Monthly)
