Job Context:
∎ Position: Program Officer
∎ Location: Upazila level (Moulvibazar, Chattogram, Kishorgonj & Dhaka)
∎ Project Duration: Six month (renewable)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Attend district level monthly coordination meetings of the Health and Family Planning department to share updates on the implementation progress
∎ Assist UNEO to train Upazila level service providers and roll out of the field level activities immediately after the training
∎ Assist and follow up with MT-EPI and Front Line Workers on logistics and equipment's (i.e., GMP cards, IYCF counseling cards, MUAC tapes, weighing scale) supply from Upazila to the respective EPI sites
∎ Support the Upazila Statistician to prepare performance report/presentation for the monthly coordination meetings of Health and Family Planning divisions
∎ Support HI in-charge/Statistician/MT-EPI for documentation and reporting of GMP into EPI in the monthly meeting minutes and monthly reports
∎ Provide support to ensure availability of logistics in the respective EPI sites by liaising with MT-EPI and respective supervisors
∎ Ensure 1st line supervisors are present at the EPI sites at the beginning of the session to provide support to FLWs to roll out of pilot activities immediately after the training (rollout will be done union by union)
∎ Ensure 1st line supervisors provide hands-on support to FLWs to conduct anthropometric assessments including weight, MUAC, and edema, and fill up GMP cards
∎ Ensure 1st line supervisors provide support to FLWs for age-specific nutrition counseling to the caregivers based on the child's nutritional status
∎ Support flows through respective supervisors to identify children suffering from acute malnutrition and refer to higher facilities for management
∎ Ensure 1st supervisors observe the GMP sessions to provide supportive supervision by using the appropriate checklist
∎ Provide support to respective HA to record GMP data in the designated columns of the 'Daily vaccination and other services report (child)'TA to MT-EPI/ Upazila Statisticians to compile monthly reports
∎ Ensure services delivered are recorded and reported accurately and properly
∎ Provide support to Upazila Statistician/ designated person to upload GMP report into DHIS2
∎ Provide support to CHCP to upload GMP report into DHIS2
∎ Prepare daily progress report by using prescribed template through field visit or over phone (if more than 2 sessions take place)
∎ Assist UNEO to facilitate joint field visit with district and upazila level Health and Family Planning managers and supervisors to monitor the progress of the pilot
∎ Ensure that District and Upazila level Health and Family Planning managers and supervisors fill in EPI supportive supervision checklist including nutrition parts
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 2-3 years of experience in program implementation and proven expertise in working with Upazila level Government health system
∎ Experience of working with under pressure and multidimensional and challenging working environment.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bangla & English.
∎ Advanced user of android based gadget and mobile App
∎ Have knowledge of DHIS2 and EPI reporting system
