∎ As partnership with CARE Bangladesh, ESDO will implement the Strengthening Household Ability to Respond to Development Opportunities (SHOUHARDO-III Plus & DRR Project in Jamalpur & Lalmonirhat District.
∎ This position posting place will be at Jamalpur Office.
∎ ESDO is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for timely and quality implementation on behalf of the organization: plinth raising at HH and community level, Shelter repair and maintenance work, participants straining and input distribution, FPP volunteers’ selection and capacity building; Local Service Provider’s (LSPs) capacity building, community mobilization; coordination with stakeholders and reporting.
∎ Capacity development of project staffs.
∎ Guide and support program staffs, LSPs and volunteers to implement program intervention effectively.
∎ Supervise all field level activities to ensure that all staffs are working according to the project work plan. S/he will be responsible for local level coordination to ensure community and administration’s buy-in; provide systematic feedback for smooth implementation of program activities in all the targeted Unions and Upazilas.
∎ Responsible for supporting the preparation and full implementation of the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Plan and Environmental Mitigation and Management Plan (EMMP) and Climate Risk Management Plan (CMP).
∎ Responsible for timely reporting (narrative, financial and MEL) and ensuring environmental, quality control and administrative/ financial compliance of the donor.
∎ Responsible for program planning (annual, quarterly and monthly plans), implementation, budgeting, financial management, staff management, report writing and monitoring & evaluation.
∎ Maintain regular liaison with the Program Manager-SHOU III DRR and Regional Program Coordinator -Operation to plan and implement all activities and timely and adequate donor reporting.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ In case of highly experience staff age limit is flexible.
∎ At least 10 years’ working experience in any National/International NGO; and at least 05 years’ experience in similar position, particularly in DRR & Resilience, Agriculture & Livelihood and Nutrition project
∎ Clear understanding on DRR, Livelihoods and Nutrition project dynamics integrating women empowerment, youth, private sector, market engagement and financial inclusion.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Computer skill on MS word, excel, power point, virtual communication (zoom, teams etc.) and others.
Salary: Tk. 63275 (Monthly)
