Candidates must meet the qualifications, experience and other requirements prescribed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh for appointment to the post of Professor.

Candidates must possess the required academic qualifications in the relevant discipline from recognized universities/institutions.

Candidates must have the required university-level teaching/research experience as prescribed by the UGC, including experience as a Professor and/or Associate Professor at a recognized university in Bangladesh or abroad.

Candidates must have a strong record of research and scholarly publications in recognized national and/or international journals, as applicable under the prevailing UGC criteria.

Candidates with experience in postgraduate teaching, thesis/dissertation supervision, academic leadership, curriculum development, quality assurance and university administration will be preferred.

1. Conduct undergraduate and postgraduate classes in the assigned department and ensure effective delivery of course content.

2. Prepare course outlines, lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, quizzes and examination questions in accordance with the approved curriculum.

3. Supervise and evaluate students' academic performance, including assignments, projects, theses and dissertations.

4. Provide academic advising, mentoring and guidance to students.

5. Conduct and publish quality research in recognized national and international journals.

6. Develop and lead research projects and seek research grants and collaborations where appropriate.

7. Participate actively in departmental, faculty, academic council, examination and other university committees.

8. Contribute to curriculum development, revision and quality enhancement initiatives.

9. Maintain academic records and submit required reports within the stipulated deadlines.

10. Participate in seminars, conferences, workshops, training programs and other academic activities.

11. Establish and maintain academic and research collaborations with national and international institutions.

12. Contribute to accreditation, UGC compliance, institutional quality assurance and academic development activities.

13. Provide academic leadership and mentoring to faculty members and support the overall development of the department.

14. Perform other academic, administrative and institutional responsibilities assigned by the University authority.
