Experience:

• Master’s/MBA/BBA in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline from a recognized university. CA (CC)/CA, CMA (Partly Qualified), or equivalent professional qualification will be given preference.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal audit procedures, VAT, Tax, and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications and accounting/ERP/UMS software is required.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounts, finance, or internal audit in a university, educational institution, corporate organization, or reputed company.

• Candidates having experience in internal audit, financial compliance, VAT & Tax, and ERP/UMS software operation will be preferred.

1. Conduct internal audits of financial transactions, vouchers, bills, payroll, procurement, and other accounting activities of the university.

2. Verify financial records and ensure compliance with university policies, accounting standards, VAT & Tax regulations, and other applicable laws.

3. Review and monitor departmental expenditures, budget utilization, and financial documentation.

4. Identify financial discrepancies, irregularities, or risks and report findings with recommendations for corrective actions.

5. Prepare internal audit reports and submit them to the higher authority on a regular basis.

6. Ensure proper maintenance and preservation of financial records, audit files, and supporting documents.

7. Assist in developing and improving internal control systems and financial procedures.

8. Coordinate with accounts, finance, procurement, HR, and other departments for audit-related activities.

9. Monitor compliance with approved financial policies and ensure transparency and accountability in financial operations.

10. Assist external auditors and regulatory authorities during annual audits and inspections.

11. Operate accounting and ERP/UMS software efficiently for financial reporting and audit purposes.

12. Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the university authority.
