Job Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Academic Duties
Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures.
Develop, update, and review curriculum, course outlines, and teaching materials.
Supervise PhD, MPhil, and Master’s students.
Conduct examinations and evaluate student performance.
2. Research & Publications
Conduct and lead high-quality research activities.
Publish in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
Mentor junior faculty members in research activities.
3. Academic Leadership
Provide leadership in departmental and program development.
Chair or participate in academic committees and boards.
Guide curriculum reform.
4. Administrative Responsibilities
Serve as Head of Department/Dean (if assigned).
Participate in policy formulation and strategic planning.
Organize seminars, conferences, workshops, and academic events.
5. Community & Professional Engagement
Collaborate with national and international institutions.

Educational Qualifications & Experience
Master’s degree with Bachelor/Honors in any discipline.
Minimum 15 (fifteen) years of managerial experience in a reputed institution.
At least 5 (five) years of experience as Deputy Controller of Examinations or equivalent position.
Job Responsibilities
The Controller of Examinations is responsible for ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and smooth functioning of all examination-related activities of the university.
1. Examination Planning & Management
Plan, schedule, and oversee all university examinations (undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional).
Prepare examination schedules, and result timelines.
Ensure smooth and timely conduct of examinations across all faculties and departments.
2. Conduct of Examinations
Supervise preparation, moderation, and handling of question papers.
Ensure confidentiality and security of examination processes.
Monitor examination centers to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
3. Result Processing & Publication
Oversee evaluation, tabulation, and result preparation processes.
Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely publication of results.
Approve and publish results in coordination with competent authorities.
4. Records & Documentation
Maintain secure and accurate records of examination data, transcripts, and certificates.
Issue transcripts, grade sheets, and certificates.
Ensure proper archiving and retrieval systems (digital and physical).
5. Policy Implementation & Compliance
Implement examination rules, policies, and regulations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., UGC and professional councils).
Propose improvements to examination systems and policies.
6. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with Deans, Heads, faculty, and administrative units.
Communicate examination-related information to students and stakeholders.
Address examination-related queries and grievances.
7. Office Administration
Lead and manage the Controller’s Office staff.
Ensure efficient workflow, task allocation, and supervision.
Prepare reports for university authorities.
8. Technology & System Development
Oversee automation of examination systems (ERP, result software).
Ensure data security and system integrity.
Promote modern technologies for efficient exam management.
9. Quality Assurance
Ensure fairness, transparency, and standardization in assessment.
Continuously monitor and improve examination processes.
Support accreditation and quality assurance activities.
10. Other Duties
Perform duties assigned by the Vice-Chancellor or competent authority.
Represent the university in examination-related matters when required.
