Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Candidates with Masters in Early Childhood Education / Masters in Education will get preference
∎ Minimum 5 years of working experience in an English medium school is a requirement for the post.
∎ The Preschool supervisor plays a key leadership role in welcoming and supporting student and teachers.
∎ The duties and responsibilities will include:·
∎ To assist the Coordinator for programmes and project management, delegating extensively across the school community and ensuring roles and responsibilities are understood clearly by all.
∎ ·       Plan, organise, and implement preschool activities, which include indoor/outdoor, active/quiet, and individual and group activities.
∎ ·       Developing a creative learning community within the teachers.
∎ ·       To have knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm for creative teaching and learning as a key to raising achievement, aspiration and motivation
∎ ·       To facilitate the long-term development of creative teaching and learning at a structural and systemic level, using the Creative School Development Framework and other resources.
∎ ·       To ensure that children and young people play a meaningful and active role in learning that can truly reflect their interests, needs and enthusiasms.
∎ ·       Create, plan, supervise, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate and age specific preschool programs that address the needs of the whole child – socially, physically, intellectually, creatively, emotionally, and which respect community diversity
∎ ·       To ensure that all monitoring and evaluation requirements are fulfilled and quality teaching is established.
∎ ·       Assisting with identifying and recruiting potential Mentor Teachers.·       Facilitating and monitoring the School Project requirements.
∎ ·       Act as liaison between parents, students, administrators and teachers.
∎ ·       Take classes if any teacher is absent.
∎ ·       Cover the responsibilities of the Coordinator in case if her/ his absence.
∎ ·       Attend Academic Committee Meeting if required.
∎ ·       To take demonstration classes on regular basis to help teachers improve their teaching techniques.
∎ ·       To evaluate copy, diary and lesson plan by checking regularly to minimise errors.
∎ Candidates with Masters in Early Childhood Education / Masters in Education will get preference
