Education:
B.Sc. in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Technology from any reputed University/Institution with good academic records.
Graduates from public universities such as CUET, DUET, RUET, SUST, etc. will be given preference.

Additional Requirements:
- Age At most 30 years
Required Experience: Relevant professional experience;-
For B.Sc in Engineering: Minimum 02 (two) years of relevant professional experience.
For Diploma Engineering: Minimum 05 (five) years of relevant professional experience.
Others:
Skill in automobile, mechanical tools & equipment handling, proper knowledge or training on PLC.
Preference will be given to candidates who have teaching experience in a polytechnic Institute.
Candidates having knowledge on industrial Automation will be preferred.·
Proficient in the MS Office package and very sound in IT skills.
Willing to recover student debt collection on a regular basis.
Excellent Communication skills both in English and Bangla.
Self-motivated, adaptable, team player and a passion for social development works.
Willingness to travel to any other place where UCEP has its activities.
Age: The age limit for the applicant would be 30 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
Responsibilities & Context:
Nature of Job: Contractual
Job Location: A K Khan UCEP Polytechnic Institute (AKKUPI), Chattogram/Anywhere in Bangladesh
Job Purpose: To impact quality teaching as per the curriculum, syllabus and ensure effective use of resources.
Job Responsibilities:
To teach the students as per academic schedules and curriculum.
To develop a lesson plan and workshop/laboratory instruction sheet.
To supervise/monitor the work/tasks of the student in the classes.
Make sure to reduce the students' dropout rate.
To render additional support in making a concept/subject issue.
To associate the students with the co-curricular activities.
To motivate and counsel students to ensure regular attendance in the classes.
To communicate with parents/guardians in relevant cases.
To assist in the admission of students in the AKKUPI.
To maintain students’ profiles and examination records.
To support on Job placement of students after completion Diploma Engineering Course.
To maintain the students' tracking record after passing the Diploma Engineering Course.
To prepare and maintain documents related to BTEB as per requirements.
To make effective use/re-use of teaching resources and equipment etc.
To carryout periodic/timely maintenance of the teaching equipment etc.
To assist in preparing departmental budget (if any).
To keep records on TTE, TTM and Fixed assets for avoid Audit findings and smooth work shipment in lab and workshops.
To maintain PRs' accuracy with approved budget aligned with related Code and Budget head.
To maintain total secrecy and confidentiality in respect of the institutional affairs and uphold the dignity of the institution.
To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as and when required and assigned by the AKKUPI authority/principal/vice-principal/departmental head.
