Horizon International School, Uttara is looking for a caring, energetic, and responsible Pre-Play & Play Group Teacher for our early childhood section. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching and caring for young learners through play-based, creative, and age-appropriate learning activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Teach Pre-Play and Play Group students in a friendly and caring manner.

• Conduct rhymes, storytelling, games, drawing, coloring, craft, and play-based classroom activities.

• Help children develop basic communication, social, motor, and classroom behavior skills.

• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching materials, and classroom activities.

• Maintain a safe, clean, colorful, and child-friendly classroom environment.

• Monitor students’ learning progress, behavior, and participation.

• Communicate with parents regarding students’ progress when required.

• Ensure students’ safety, hygiene, discipline, and emotional well-being.

• Assist in school events, celebrations, and other academic activities.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum HSC/A-Level completed.

• Bachelor’s degree will be preferred.

• Training in Early Childhood Education or Montessori will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a school is required.

• Experience in Pre-Play, Play Group, Nursery, or early childhood teaching will be preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Good communication skills in English and Bangla.

• Must be patient, caring, energetic, and child-friendly.

• Ability to manage young children with love and discipline.

• Skilled in rhymes, storytelling, games, art, craft, and creative activities.

• Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Candidates living near Uttara will be given preference.
