Job Context

Frista Group is strengthening its international data engineering team to support a European client’s modern Business Intelligence platform. We are seeking a skilled Databricks Backend Data Engineer to build reliable data pipelines and prepare high-quality data for enterprise reporting.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies while contributing to a rapidly growing offshore delivery center in Bangladesh.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines in Databricks

• Extract and integrate data from SAP and other enterprise systems

• Build data workflows using Azure Data Factory

• Transform and enrich data for business reporting use cases

• Prepare optimized datasets for Power BI consumption

• Monitor data quality and system performance

• Improve refresh reliability and backend efficiency

• Troubleshoot data issues proactively

• Collaborate with frontend BI consultants and project teams

• Maintain proper technical documentation for data solutions

Additional Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks

• Advanced SQL knowledge

• Experience with Azure Data Factory

• Understanding of SAP data structures

• Knowledge of Power BI dataset architecture

• Performance tuning experience preferred
