Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct all VAT and Tax activities of the organization in accordance with the prevailing laws and NBR guidelines.
Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns and annual Income Tax returns within the stipulated time.
Ensure withholding tax and VAT deduction, deposit and submission of relevant returns.
Maintain and verify records related to VAT invoices (Mushak), purchases, sales, production and stock.
Maintain VAT and Tax related accounts, registers and documents up to date.
Prepare necessary information and documents for NBR Audit, VAT Inspection and Tax Assessment.
Provide necessary advice to various departments on VAT and Tax Compliance.
Identify VAT and Tax risks and provide recommendations for legal solutions.
