1. Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients with chronic respiratory diseases to determine their physical capabilities and limitations.
Develop individualized physiotherapy plans based on the assessment findings and diagnosis.
2. Therapeutic Interventions:
Provide evidence-based physiotherapy treatments and interventions to improve respiratory function, mobility, and overall physical health.
Utilize techniques such as breathing exercises, chest physiotherapy, and physical conditioning.
3. Education and Training:
Educate patients and their families on the nature of chronic respiratory diseases, treatment plans, and techniques to manage symptoms at home.
Conduct training sessions for local healthcare workers and volunteers to ensure continuity of care.
4. Collaboration with Healthcare Team:
Work closely with researchers, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
5. Program Implementation and Monitoring:
Assist in the implementation of physiotherapy programs tailored to the needs of CRD patients in Cox`s Bazar and Rohingya refugee camps.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of physiotherapy interventions and adjust approaches based on patient feedback and outcomes.
6. Resource Management:
Ensure the efficient use of available resources, including physiotherapy equipment and supplies.
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes.
7. Community Outreach and Support:
Participate in community outreach programs to identify individuals with CRD and provide necessary physiotherapy services.
Support community health initiatives aimed at preventing and managing chronic respiratory diseases.
8. Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare detailed reports on patient progress, treatment outcomes, and program impact for internal use and external stakeholders.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and complies with organizational and regulatory standards.
9. Adherence to Ethical and Cultural Sensitivity:
Provide care that respects the cultural, social, and religious practices of the patients and community.
Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards in all professional activities.
