Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collect blood samples in a safe and sanitary manner, using the appropriate equipment and techniques to minimize the risk of contamination or infection.
∎ Interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner, explaining the procedure to them, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort during the blood draw.
∎ Conduct capillary punctures when necessary, especially for infants or patients with difficult veins.
∎ Properly label blood samples with patient information, date, and time of collection to ensure accurate identification.
∎ Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections to both patients and healthcare workers.
∎ Maintain accurate records of collected samples, patient information, and testing orders.
∎ Stay updated on the latest phlebotomy techniques, safety procedures, and regulations through ongoing education and training.
∎ Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of phlebotomy equipment, including needles, tubes, and trays.
∎ Patient Counseling before collecting Specimen.
∎ Receive or collect, as well as process samples.
∎ Maintain equipment in proper working order and maintain a clean work area.
∎ Practice safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.
∎ Maintain proper values and guidelines of the phlebotomy/ pre-analytical procedure of the laboratory.
∎ Test name posting, Sticker printing, sample leveling.
∎ Collecting test report.
∎ Using software barcode.
∎ Any other duties assigned by the authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 32 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
Salary: Tk. 12000 - 18000 (Monthly)
