Experience:

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Hospital

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)

• Diploma / Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.

• At least 2 years

• Age 28 to 40 years

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid registration from the Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or NGO setting.
• Experience in humanitarian or camp-based projects preferred.
• Fluency in Rohingya/Chittagonian and Bengali is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational and reporting skills.

Job Title: Pharmacist, Responsible to: Project Manager / Doctor

Job Location: Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar

Job Purpose:
To manage the pharmacy unit, ensure safe storage and distribution of medicines, and counsel patients on proper medication use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescribed medicines and counsel patients on dosage and use.

• Maintain accurate stock records, expiry tracking, and ensure proper storage.

• Ensure the availability of ophthalmic drugs and surgical consumables.

• Support the procurement process and prepare monthly consumption reports.

• Maintain compliance with Bangladesh drug regulations and organizational guidelines.

• Provide medication support during eye camps and outreach sessions.

• Provide appropriate reading glasses to patients after cataract surgery and guide them on proper usage and care.

• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Project Manager, Doctor, or senior management team as required.
